ARS ELECTRONICA 2011

On behalf of Radio Österreich 1 the ZENDOME.75M was on a mission at the most important festival for digital arts, the ars electronica in Linz. 

At the beginning of september 2011 international scientists and artists came together on a search for the origin: The festival entitled „Origin – how everything began" concentrated on the universe of cutting edge research with 300 events, discourses, performances, exhibitions and installations.  As a „mobile Ö1 studio" the ZENDOME turned into a center of public discussion for the 84.000 visitors throughout the week. 

A perfect space for listening and participating in discussions, that enabled the scientific encounter for everybody interested. Scientists of CERN were open for discussions, scientists of the Ö1 children university held discourses for younger guests, animation movies of the Electronic Theatre were presented and Ö1 children journalists inspired further thinking cross-generational with their questions.
